On April 7, 2016 over 200 Illinois State Dental Society dentists traveled to Springfield for the annual ISDS Capital Conference to meet with their legislators and discuss issues important to Illinois dentists and their patients. Some of these issues included the state of Illinois dental payment crisis, the major problems with the Medicaid Care Coordination Program, and the proposed cuts to adult dental Medicaid coverage. Dr. Sue Mayer, President IL AGD and Dr. Randall Ashton, Past President of the IL AGD attended the event. Dr. Ashton is the IL AGD representative on the ISDS Dent IL PAC and he presented a $1000 check to the Dent IL PAC on behalf of the IL AGD.
