Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Illinois (MWU CDMI) in Downers Grove held its Commencement and Awards Banquet on Monday April 25. The event was held at the Esplanade Lakes Ballroom near the Dental Institute of MWU. We are proud to announce that graduating seniors Emily Hollings Carley and Andrew Fakhoury received AGD’s Senior Student Award (SSDA) that evening.
This award has been established to recognize senior dental students from each dental school in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico who exhibit potential for becoming outstanding general dentists. AGD members work their local school administrator to select the award winners. Award recipients will receive a complimentary one-year membership in the AGD. In addition to this, Chicago AGD gives these Illinois SSDA recipients a season’s pass to their upcoming 4 seminar series.
