ILAGD & WIAGD Presents: “Oral Surgery for the General Dentist, Making it Easier, Faster, & More Predictable” by Dr. Karl Koerner – September 16-17, 2016

The IL & WI AGD Mastertrack Program hosted Dr. Karl Koerner on September 16 & 17 for “Oral Surgery for the General Dentist, Making it Easier, Faster & More Predictable.” Forty dentists participated in this hands-on course to learn how to make surgical extractions less time consuming and more predictable. Learning on specially designed oral surgery models, the doctors performed extractions, bone socket grafting, suturing and I & D’s. Dr. Harold Firfer, an oral surgeon assisted the doctors with their procedures. For each MT program, the IL AGD awards a scholarship to a new dentist, and this program’s recipient was Dr. Yasmin Farid. Friday night, the doctors enjoyed dinner at Cucina Casale’s in Itasca. Our next MT program will be on Cosmetic Dentistry with Lee Ann Brady at Patterson Dental in Wood Dale, IL on October 28 & 29th.
