A Practical Review and Update in Oral Pathology

by Dr. John R. Kalmar

Spend a day with the distinguished oral pathologist, Dr. John R. Kalmar, and ease your mind about the detection, diagnosis and management of oral lesions encountered in daily practice. You will be shown how to conduct and document a comprehensive clinical evaluation plus how to recognize the signs and symptoms of common as well as significiant oral diseases. Special emphasis will be given to: 1) vesiculo-erosive conditions, 2) infectious diseases, 3) radiographic abnormalities, 4) oral cancer and pre-cancerous lesions, and 5) medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaws. Clinical cases will be used in an interactice format to illustrate the differential diagnostic process and reinforce current concepts in disease pathogenesis and treatment.
