Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR)
In the morning session, we will examine the biological principals of Guided Bone Regeneration. Socket Grafting will be discussed along
with an overview of bio materials utilized in GBR. Clinical techniques in GBR will be reviewed along with ridge augmentation.
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)
In the afternoon, we will discuss the biologic basis of PRF, iPRF, L-PRF, and A-PRF and provide a detailed description of the most common applications in clinical dentistry. PRF has gained a lot of popularity in the past few years due to its versatility in use. Platelet Rich Fibrin has
made surgical procedures simpler and predictable. Moreover, the success rate of most surgical procedures, with addition of PRF, is more
predictable and cost effective for the practitioner.
**There will also be a phlebotomy and PRF demonstration in the afternoon.
