Course:

Day 1 of this course will open new channels of information and demonstrate how to increase productivity while improving the quality of your dentistry and the patient experience. The step-by-step approach used will provide you with the knowledge to achieve remarkable results in your dental office quickly, efficiently, and profitably using the latest state-of -the-art materials, methods, and technology. Day 2 (hands-on) is designed to aid the restorative dentist in providing more comprehensive diagnostic treatment planning and clinical treatment skills. With the continued advances in technology, techniques and materials, the future of dentistry is changing. CAD CAM dentistry is on the cutting edge of advanced restorative care. Although an increasing number of dentists are interested in offering this treatment to their patient, there is not enough information available, especially regarding occlusion.

Speaker Bio:

Dr. Jaimee Morgan has presented lectures spanning the globe, including Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia, and she regularly contribute articles to dental periodicals and journals on cosmetic dental techniques for the general practiced. Morgan received her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has served ASA founding member of the South Texas Chapter the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Morgan served on the Board of Directors of the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Morgan has a love of conservation esthetic dentistry which led to her partnering for the creation of the Simplified Layering Technique for composite resins. She practices orthodontics, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Jacob Park is a Professor of Dentistry/Clinical in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry. Dr. Park teaches TMJ part of Gross Anatomy as a Professor/ Clinical in the Department of Cellular and Structural Biology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Medical School. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and American Equilibration Society. Dr. Park holds fellowship with the Academy of Dentistry International, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the International College of Dentists. He is the Past President (2015-2016) of the American Equilibration Society (International Organization for Occlusion and TMD www.aes-tmj.org). Dr. Park serves as a chairman of Subcommittee 9 CAD CAM in Dentistry of the Standards Committee on Dental Products of the American Dental Association. He is the current president of the Academy of Dentistry International.

At the completion of this seminar, participants will:

Learn how the dental cosmetic pyramid ensures you don’t leave the small but important details out of your cases.
Observe the value of the soft tissue handpiece and how it increases productivity with little effort.
Discover the simplicity of direct bonded restorations and embrace their positive impact on your practice.
Learn what technology could be incorporated into your dental practice to optimize your case results

Tooth wear (Abrasion, Erosion, NCCL, Attrition)
Parafunction and Bruxism
CO-CR Slide
Occlusal Adjustment
Parafunction and Bruxism
Virtual Articulation
Single visit restoration Materials (CAD CAM Blocks & Bonding Materials)
Prep Designs for Veneers, Inlays, Onlays, Crowns and Bridge
Implant Prosthesis

CE Credits:

(towards AGD Fellowship or Mastership)
8 hours of Operative Dentistry or Occlusion or dental materials lecture credit for those who attend the 11/18/22 lecture only; 16 hours of Operative Dentistry or Occlusion or dental materials participation credit for those who attend 11/18/22 lecture and 11/19/22 hands-on. (36 hours for those who complete an in-office protocol assignment and report).
