The Chicago AGD Presented “The Best Marketing Strategies for Growing Your Practice”-Part 1, and “Stay Ahead of the Curve: Don’t be a Malpractice Case Study”-Part 2. Grace Rizza is an outstanding business consultant and lecturer who teaches dentists how to grow their practices “in the most ethical and efficient way.”
Jennifer Flynn, CPHRM, is a Risk Manager for Dentist’s Advantage. Ronald R. Zentz, RPH, DDS, FAGD, CPHRM, is the Dental Risk Consulting Director for CNA Healthcare.
On Friday, September 13, 2019, in conjunction with the Illinois State Dental Society at Ditka’s restaurant in Oak Brook Terrace, the Chicago component of the Academy of General Dentistry hosted two seminars on the same day. The morning seminar was given by Grace Rizza and she demonstrated all of the internal and external marketing strategies that are necessary to stay competitive in dentistry today. Tactics for marketing online, event marketing and the details on how to develop a distribution plan and its implementation were shown. Ms. Rizza also showed clear ways to optimize your online presence without overspending. It was great information for practices looking to expand their social media forums.
The afternoon seminar was given by a tandem team, Jennifer Flynn, CPHRM and Ronald Zentz, RPH, DDS, FAGD, CPHRM. They gave us detailed information about the procedures and areas in dentistry that are most involved in litigation. They also provided methods on how to avoid lawsuits and how to conduct yourself while in a lawsuit. If a patient files a complaint against you via the dental board in your state, you may want to consider having your malpractice insurance carrier represent you so that the result is optimal. Ms Flynn and Dr. Zentz delivered very useful information to help us stay out of trouble in just a three hour seminar!
The Chicago AGD is thankful for our sponsors who generously supported our lecture.
