Chicago AGD Presented “Cutting Edge Technology with Digital Design and Real World Cosmetic Dentistry; Faults, Failures, and Fixes” with Joyce Bassett, DDS.
On Friday, September 23, 2016, at Ditka’s Restaurant in Oak Brook, the Chicago Component of the Academy of General Dentistry hosted a day-long course on “Cutting Edge Technology with Digital Design and Real World Cosmetic Dentistry; Faults, Failures, and Fixes”. Dr. Joyce Bassett presented a very comprehensive, fast-paced program on all aspects of cosmetic and “real world” dentistry with faults, failures and fixes presented for several cases.
A question to present to your patients when they are considering cosmetic dentistry may include “Do you want to look like you used to look or do you want to look like you’ve never looked”. Part of the presentation was titled “Things that go wrong when you do everything right”, which brought out the complexity of the human biological and mechanical elements associated with some complex dental cases.
The Chicago AGD is thankful for our sponsors who generously supported our lecture. Our sponsors included: Kettenbach represented by Tim St. Clair; BISCO, represented by Norma Gilich; and Garrison Dental Solutions, represented by Scott Crago.
Our next lecture, Predictable Low Stress Endodontics for the General Practitioner” with John Flucke, DDS as the presenter, will be on November 4, 2016 at Ditka’s Restaurant in Oak Brook. We look forward to seeing a great turnout.
