On Friday, May 2nd, 2025, at Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse in Oak Brook, the Chicago
component of the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry hosted a seminar featuring Dr. Matt
Krieger and Dr. Irbad Chowdhury. Dr. Matt Krieger, DMD, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon
who has specialized exclusively in All-On-X full-arch dental implant surgery since 2019,
performing over 2,000 arches with a precise, data-driven approach. He developed the “Rule of
10s” technique to streamline procedures and track every case in a personal Arch Log, allowing
him to consistently complete arches in under 60 minutes with outstanding outcomes. Dr.
Chowdhury is a board-certified dental implant specialist who earned his dental degree, advanced
residency, and a rare implant-only fellowship from Southern Illinois University School of Dental
Medicine. Now based in Chicago, he is a dedicated educator and mentor, holding faculty roles at
Midwestern University and affiliations with leading dental organizations including the American
Board of Oral Implantology and the International College of Dentists.
This comprehensive lecture combines foundational surgical techniques with advanced
digital workflows to guide clinicians through every stage of the All-on-X (AOX) full-arch
process—from patient selection to final prosthetic delivery. Dr. Matt Krieger demystifies full-
arch surgery with practical insights on selecting optimal candidates, planning with key
anatomical landmarks, executing predictable surgical protocols, and managing common
complications. Building on this foundation, the lecture dives into the digital AOX workflow,
showcasing how CT alignment and photogrammetry allow for streamlined direct-to-MUA
designs, same-day 3D printed temporaries, and accurate, repeatable vertical dimension and
centric relation records. Attendees will leave equipped with the knowledge to reduce chair time,
minimize errors, and confidently deliver efficient, high-quality full-arch restorations using both
surgical fundamentals and cutting-edge digital tools.
