Special thanks to Dr. Joseph Akhikar for delivering an outstanding lecture, “Becoming A Great Dentist,” at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine–Illinois during their February Lunch & Learn.
Dr. Akhikar spoke with students about the unlimited potential of general dentistry, including insights from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 12 recognized dental specialties, and considerations when choosing specialization versus general practice. He also highlighted the scope of services in general dentistry and the value of AGD membership.
