The Illinois AGD participated in the 2017 Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine ASDA Vendor Fair. Vendors are invited to showcase their goods and services to the dental students in an open and unbiased setting. The funds raised from this event support the ASDA community outreach programs such as Super Sealant Saturday and Give Kids a Smile. The Illinois AGD and the Illinois State Dental Society educated the students on the importance of organized dentistry. We are all in this together! In this era of increasing student debt, massive political change in health care, and rapidly evolving technologies, our dental colleagues must stand together. Being a member of organized dentistry strengthens our profession and improves oral health through our advocacy and public health initiatives.
