SUMMARY:Chicago AGD Presents: Root to Restoration: Restoratively-Driven Endodontics for Long-Term Restorative Success
DESCRIPTION:Root to Restoration: Restoratively-Driven Endodontics for Long-Term Restorative Success\nSeminar Series #1\n(with engaged learning demonstration)\nSummary:\nDate: Friday\, September 11\, 2026\nTime: 8am – 4pm (including lunch hour)\nLocation: Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse @ Oak Brook\, IL\nSpeaker: Dr. Stephanie Tran\nCE Credits: 4 CE Lecture credits & 3 CE participation credits\nTuition: (Breakfast and Lunch Included)\nAGD Dentist: $450\nNon-AGD Dentist: $550\nHygienist or staff (AGD Dentist): $115\nHygienist or staff (Non-AGD Dentist): $125\nStudent/Resident: $20\nSpeaker’s Bio:\n Dr. Stephanie Tran is an endodontist who is passionate about endodontic education and helping patients relieve their dental pain while helping them maintain their teeth. Born in Connecticut and raised in California\, Dr. Tran completed her undergraduate studies at the University of the Pacific and went on to receive her D.D.S. at the University of the Pacific\, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco\, California. To further her education by completing a General Practice Residency program at SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center\, where she became experienced in managing advanced dental cases\, trauma\, and complex surgeries. \nAfter several years building her comprehensive dentistry background as a general dentist\, Dr. Tran decided to pursue her passion for endodontics. She completed her endodontics specialty residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is an experienced clinician who is trained in contemporary advanced endodontic techniques\, microscopic surgical and nonsurgical endodontic\ntreatment\, and management of traumatic injuries. Dr. Tran provides endodontic treatment for both adults and pediatric patients in private practice\, serving the New York City and Long Island\, NY regions. She is also passionate about endodontic education and lectures both nationally and internationally to share her enthusiasm for endodontics with other clinicians along with posting on her social media @her_holiness_the_pulp. In her free time\, Dr. Tran enjoys traveling\, snorkeling\, exploring NYC’s many restaurants and\nmuseums\, cooking\, and going to the beach with her dog. \nCourse Objectives:\nWith technological advancements and a growing body of scientific evidence\, endodontics has evolved beyond simply cleaning and filling root canals. There is now a clear recognition that the preservation of natural tooth structure is critical—not only for endodontic success but also for long-term restorative viability. \nJoin Dr. Stephanie Tran\, endodontist and international speaker\, for an in-depth exploration of restoratively-driven endodontics. This lecture will present evidence-based strategies that integrate endodontic treatment with restorative planning from the outset\, ensuring teeth are treated with the end in mind. Through clinical case examples\, diagnostic considerations\, and minimally invasive techniques\, Dr. Tran will demonstrate how a biologically respectful and restoratively conscious approach can enhance both structural integrity and esthetic outcomes. \n  \n  \nIn this lecture you will learn: \n\nUnderstand the conservative approach for restoratively-driven access design and instrumentation\nComplimenting the use of the radiographs with CBCT for precise anatomical planning and execution\nLearn how to use contemporary minimally invasive instrumentation for conservative cleaning and shaping\nApply bioceramic and modern technology into root canal obturation techniques\nUnderstand modern conservative restorative considerations for endodontically treated teeth\n\nRegistration: \nScroll to the bottom to register for this course only. \nSponsored By:\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n https://allpracticesolutions.com\n \n \n \n \n \n https://relevanceonlinemarketing.com/\n \n \n \n \n \n https://wealthwave.com\n \n \n \n \n \n https://www.ottawadentallab.com\n \n \n \n \n \n https://www.garfieldrefining.com\n \n \n \n \n \n https://www.henryschein.com/\n \n \n \n \n \n https://mcpheecoaching.com/\n \n \n \n \n \n https://www.oldnational.com/\n \n \n \n \n \n https://www.usa.philips.com/\n \n \n \n \n \n https://www.be-guided.com/\n \n \n \n \n \n https://atlasanesthesia.com/\n \n \n \n \n \n https://shop.brasselerusa.com\n \n \n\n

SUMMARY:Protocol Presentations
DESCRIPTION:Protocol reporting will now be done virtually by pre-arranging with the Mastertrack directors. Please RSVP to Dr. Jessica Gibbs to present protocol reports on past Mastertrack Sessions or for more information at jessicagibbs@gmail.com. \nZoom Virtual Meeting/Webinar \nProtocol Presentations \n\nProtocol presentations offer attendees the opportunity to more than double their CE participation hours earned per program. Please RSVP with Dr. Jessica Gibbs if you plan to report on a protocol assignment from a previous Mastertrack session.\nAs an aspiring Master in the AGD\, it is both an honor and an obligation to be able to share your knowledge and experiences with others. There is no better format to improve those presentation skills than with the protocol reporting sessions available to those who have taken a PACE/CERP approved participation course. The objective of taking a participation course and then doing a protocol session is to (1) instruct the participant in the practical application of a skill(s)\, (2) for the participant to do that procedure(s) in his/her office\, and (3) to then show the protocol facilitator (and others presenting that day) how this procedure was done by you.  In short: See it done\, Do it in your office\, and Teach others by showing what you have done. You will learn the most from the “teach” part of this triad! So\, what is the best way to “teach”? Tell the “story” about the case/s. Yes\, from “once upon a time” to “happily ever after” with all that went on between the two. The method is the same. Deliver this story so that each member of the audience can share the experience simultaneously. Suggestions: Do a PowerPoint presentation\, with good photos to support the “story”\, handouts\, models (or photos of the models)\, and a literature search to support the case. Remember that the story is first\, the photos support it. Not the other way around!**Sit in on a protocol session and see how others present. Emulate a style you like; others will like it\, too. \n\nThis might be an outline to follow: \n1. Title to describe what the presentation is about \n2. Patient chief complaint \n3. Medical/ Dental/Social history \n4. Pre-operative dental charting. \n5. Established need for treatment: Diagnosis(s) \n6. Prognosis \n7. Treatment plan with objectives & rationale for treatment provided \n8. Photographs\, radiographs\, and models (if applicable) of the case prior to starting treatment. \n9. Photographs\, radiographs\, and models as the case progresses \n10. What went right; what went wrong. \n11. Post treatment photographs\, radiographs\, and documentation. \n12. What was learned from this case? What would you do differently next time? \n\nThink about this as if you are a member of the audience and would like to know everything about the case. You want to know about the patient\, the problems\, the treatment plan and how it was carried out\, the problems encountered and how they were solved (or not)\, the materials used\, the final result and how you would do the case if given another chance. You have information others need! Develop the skill to share it! Click Here for Frequently Asked Questions about our IL & WI Mastertrack Protocols Protocol presentations offer attendees to more than double their CE participation hours earned per program. \nFor more information or if you plan to present a protocol\, please contact Dr. Jessica Gibbs at jessicagibbs@gmail.com.
