Course Information:

Surgical excellence in implant dentistry is not an accident. It involves a basic and firm commitment to what is necessary in changing the patient’s life for the better.  Digital technology and other modern tools are fantastic in treating everyday patients, but they cannot overshadow the value of experience and how it applies to proper diagnosis, treatment planning and execution.  This program will overview the evolution of surgical stents from early crude devices to modern digitally developed surgical guides. The importance of surgical, restorative and laboratory collaboration will be discussed in depth, as it applies to achieving the concept of EASY, EFFORTLESS and ENJOYABLE (THE 3 E’s).  In this exciting presentation you will be shown how incorporating new technology with sound treatment modalities and experience can result in a seamless collaborative treatment experience, which will benefit your patients in a fun and kind environment. Lastly, this program will provide an overview of basic principles of maintenance through a well-established re-care system, which will increase long term success and reduce failures.

Course Objectives:

1. Understand the role of guided surgery in achieving a seamless collaborative treatment.
2. Understand the importance of utilizing modern technology to create a better treatment experience for the patient.
