Course:

Day 1 of the course will present a systemized approach to treatment planning and case presentation. This comprehensive approach covers the areas of esthetics, function and health. Decision points and data necessary to plan for success in all three areas will be discussed. Also presented are the top clinical tips and techniques in the areas of prevention, posterior composites and indirect all ceramics.
Day 2 will cover the variety of materials and techniques available today to take your composites to the next level, so your team and patients are raving about the esthetic results. Total etch and self-etch techniques, as well as the risks and benefits of each will be presented. A systematic method of evaluating different generations of dental adhesives is offered.

 

Speaker Bio:

Dr. Lee Ann Brady is a nationally recognized educator, lecturer and author, frequently presenting at local, state, national and international dental meetings. She has previously served as Clinical Director of the Pankey Institute and Executive VP of Spear Education. She now serves as Director of Education for Clinical Mastery. Dr. Brady is the founder and lead curator of Restorative Nation, a supportive learning community for dentists. She has a private restorative practice in Glendale, Arizona, and serves on the editorial board of three dental publications. Dr. Brady has published numerous articles in print and web publications.

Course Objectives:

At the completion of Day 1 of this course, the participant will have a clear understanding of:
1. The treatment planning system
2. Esthetics and functional exam and diagnosis
3. How to create a case presentation
4. Prevention of caries and periodontal disease
5. Posterior composite efficiency and effectiveness
6. Successful bonding and cementation
7. Improved posterior all ceramic restorations

At the completion of Day 2 of this course, the participant will have a clear understanding of:
1. Composite materials for restorative dentistry
2. Adhesive and bonding techniques
3. How to correctly use matrices for form and fit
4. Posterior composite tips and techniques
5. Finishing & polishing
Supplies: For the hands-on session on 6/15/19 please bring magnification eyewear.

 

CE Credits:

(towards AGD Fellowship or Mastership)

8 hours of Esthetics lecture credit for those who attend the 6/14/19 lecture only; 16 hours of Esthetics participation credit for those who attend 6/14/19 lecture and 6/15/19 hands-on.
